About Us
We're a Charitable Organisation
Churchfields Primary School PTA is the Parent Teacher Association connected with Churchfields Primary School in Beckenham, Kent. Our PTA exists as a separate entity to Churchfields Primary School, registered as a charity in England and Wales (1033303).
Building a Community
Our PTA helps build community through organised events, provides collaborative communication between parents, and fundraises to improve the school environment. We've provided funding for many school improvements over the years, which directly improve the education of the pupils.
Our non-committee roles
To ensure representation across our school community, we have some additional roles which include a SEN Ambassador, Culture Ambassador, Sustainability Ambassador and our Grants Officer.
Our Charitable Mission
Written into our constitution, our purpose is to enhance the education of the pupils in the school, in particular by:
- developing effective relationships with the staff, parents and others associated with the school
- engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and enhance the education of the pupils
The Committee
Our PTA has a number of elected officials such as the Chair, Treasurer(s) and Secretaries. The committee are elected at our Annual General Meeting held each July.
How Do I Become a Member?
Every parent or carer of a child at our school, the currently employed teaching or non-teaching staff. We're entirely led by volunteers.
